A chatbot on the Claude API, behind a Cloudflare Worker

What I built

A text chatbot that needs no account. The browser talks to a Cloudflare Worker, and the Worker calls the Claude API, so the API key never reaches the browser.

How it works

  • A cached system prompt, so replies start quickly.
  • Safety guardrails in the prompt and in the interface.
  • My Worker stores nothing. Notes stay in the user's own browser.

How I test it

  • A Python eval harness for trying prompt changes.
  • A/B runs against a frozen baseline.
  • Rollback from backups.
